01

The brief

The retailer was expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint and needed a partner that could connect online and in-store purchase behavior.

The goal was simple: acquire customers who would move between the site and stores, not just make a one-time online purchase.

02

What Talkable built

Talkable captured online and in-store purchase data, then issued offers that could be redeemed in either channel.

Customers received an online coupon code and an email with a barcode coupon for store redemption. A geo-targeted referral campaign gave shoppers near a new store a distinct offer.

03

What changed

The program brought new customers into physical stores without separating the referral experience from ecommerce.

It also gave the retailer a usable picture of omnichannel behavior, which made future campaign decisions less of a guess.
